I was engaged in serious combat for about 15 minutes the other night. Myself and another dad were ambushed by 4 kids under 7 years old, packing nerf guns and those little multi-colored plastic balls that they used to have in the play house at the arcade. We had to work pretty hard to fend off the attack and avoid spilling our beer, all the while using our couch and coffee table for cover and concealment until we could return fire. Think about an epic combination pellet gun war / snowball fight, expect it was in our basement and the snowballs didn't melt and the pellet guns didn't draw blood!
Not quite as cool as the video, but I'll have to say I had a lot of fun! |

The short story is, their mother was let's say, Less amused then we were.... We were all soaked, covered in mud, and the yard was a mess. I enjoy having good clean (sometimes a bit dirty) fun with my kids, just spending time playing with them even if it is just a tea party with my daughter or building blocks with my son. We'll use all the blocks then play - mess maker, where we yell mess maker over and over while smashing what it was we just built.... So we can build something else.... Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
