Have you ever bought something over the internet and eagerly awaited it's arrival so you could add it to your AR and test it out on the weekend? Well, have you ever recieved it and it was broken? I did tonight. [:(] I got my iron sight from Bushmaster this evening and it looks like it's missing the index screw that keeps the two halves of the elevation knob together. Looks like I'll have to call Bushmaster in the morning and postpone the shooting/testing/zeroing. [>(] |

I ordered a shell deflector for my SKS so I could mount a scope (I know, I know [BD]). Anyway, I mounted the deflector and the scope, took it to the range, loaded it up, and fired the first round..... ....and the round MISSED the f*cking deflector and put a nice dent in my scope. Well, I figure it was a fluke. I fire the remaining 9 rounds, about half of them hit the scope. So I take the scope and deflector off, deciding I'll go back to iron sights. As I go to put the scope back in my range bag, I hear a funny noise. I tilt the scope, and can hear the focusing rings rattling around inside! [pissed] That's the last time I spend more on accessories than I do on the rifle! |
