I have a pair of broken in and structurally sound Wolverine work boots, but lately every time I wear them my feet hurt like crazy. I figure its time to put some inserts into them. So what inserts do you put in your boots?

To make it complicated, I have one flat foot and one normal arch foot.

I've got a set of the timberland inserts right now, seems to work pretty good.  They sit on top of the hard insoles from a foot doc.

Boots will outlast the insoles, so remember to change em out.

I've used superfeet, and they made a noticeable difference.  However, I recently spent $65 on a pair of custom ads inserts at a running store.  I also have flat feet, on much flatter than the other.  I wish I had been using custom made insoles since high school, especially when I was active duty USMC infantry.  Worth every penny.

I tried about every insert under the sun over the years ....nothing was a very good substitute for buying good boots in the first place .

Redwing had these inserts that you heated up in an oven and then put them in your boots , while standing in them , and allowed to cool to shape....they weren't bad , I guess , but Im thinking it was more the fact that they were $200  US made Redwings to start with . Very dang comfortable .

None of the drugstore orthapedic inserts , at any price , seemed to do much good after 14hrs on concrete and iron Chippewas,Danners and Redwings , for me...thanks.

Blue ShockBlockers by Oregon Aero.  I couldn't believe how well they worked!

They're expensive as fuck but will last a long time and they give .mil discounts.
