I just got a call ostensibly from the NRA offering me an upgrade for a massively reduced price.
I would only have to pay $250 of a normal $1000 to upgrade from life to endowment member. I said sure, send me the paperwork, and she verified my address. She then offered to let me use my credit card. No thanks send me the paperwork. Well, we do take checks over the phone and I can wait while you get your checkbook. No thanks, send me the paperwork and I will send it in. **Click** Just a heads up they are out there, have a membership list and are trying to scam NRA members. Might be a dupe but because I am lazy I didn't check. Just thought others might like a heads up. |
