My uncle killed a cow a few months ago and was kind enough to share with the family. Ive never cooked elk before and was wondering if y'all had any tips or recipes to share. I found this recipe, http://www.nevadafoodies.com/pan-seared-elk-backstrap/ and that's my plan as of now.
I live in an apartment and don't have access to a grill or smoker, but I do have a cast iron skillet. Appreciate y'all's help. |
