Somehow I don't think he actually fires that from the shoulder, or even the hip. My bet is he strong enough to carry it, drop it on top of a wall or car and fires it wildly praying Allah miracles his bullets in the right direction. My bet is that the safest place to be when he fires is in front of the weapon. The recoil on those things are terrific.

It's a Chinese Type 77 12.7x108 heavy machine gun. It has a direct-gas drive action and much lighter than the M2, plus it has a muzzle brake.
This is the first the Type 77 has shown up in Iraq area. However, there's a lot of it in Afghanistan and some have show up in the Syrian Civil War. |
