We are doing a "big" shopping trip today and I usually stop by Harbor Freight to buy "consumables" for my shop. Things like tape, shop towels etc. Give me some more ideas for items under $10 that I can`t live without. Gadgets that solve problems or tools that come in handy. Wife suggested that we stop by.

plumbers gloves for hooking up the sewer line on the camper.
cheap paint brushes.
brass and stainless steel tooth brushes for cleaning guns and stuff.
those picker upper things for picking up cases from the ground at the range,
the good ones cost $7.
magnifying glasses for a buck.
zip ties.
safety glasses.
sand paper.
quilts for moving, use them to shoot off of.

probably think of more later, going myself tomorrow.

They carry a little adjustable wrench with extra wide opening jaws.  Really handy.

Get the free multimeter if you have the coupon, good for checking batteries and other simple stuff.

Over $10 but we buy caseloads of their grinders. They last until someone drops them off a tower, drives over them with a cherr picker or similar equipment. Never saw the need to spend more money on something that ends up broken 100% of the time anyway eventually. On the jobsite I've seen just as many $150 grinders die to a tragic fall from height as $25 ones.

They have decent magnetic tip and color coded screw drivers for around $3.

Can you pick me up one of the carpenters dreidels and one of the moron lamps?

My local HF is out of stock and they don't know when to expect more coming in.

Thanx

Seen that posted many times on this forum. Have that same exact greenhouse. It survived a direct hit from Katrina in 120+ mph winds and several other similar storms without any issue at all. Handy as hell. Has last 15 years give or take so far.

More than $10, but get a big ass pipe wrench.  You will be surprised how often it comes in handy, but not often enough to justify spending Arab money on a name brand version.

I have a CNC engraver so I normally check to see if they have the carbide files and rasps that are really carbide end mills in a variety of sizes.  Most seem to be made in US and if you are lucky you can find some bigger end mills in the packs.

Idk if they changed who they get their red shop towels from, but years ago they were great.  would actually pick/wipe up oil/liquid spills.  The last 2 times I went and got their shop towels, the oil beaded right off of it

Boxes of the nitrile gloves.  Use those things constantly.
Probably the most useful single item they sell.

I grab dremel bits along with several things already mentioned.  No point in paying dremel prices when the cut off wheel usually break anyways.  Even the drum sanders and polishing bits for dremels from harbor freight do fine.

Those red Centech or what the brand is they sell.

They usually cost $4.99 - $7.99

I have a magazine with a coupon for a free one, no purchase necessary.

I probably have 10 of these meters around the house.
