My wife makes me potato pancakes with applesauce for breakfast once in a while, but usually with a side of bratwurst. Looks good to me.

I believe Bettendorf was in Germany awhile back. Maybe he's still there, as that kinda looks like what they made him eat, then.
Those of us with a little Germanic blood in our veins, know that applesauce is supposed to be served with pork. Its part of the same statute that says cranberries must be served with turkey. I see his plate has applesauce served with hashbrowns that were ostensibly fried in pork fat but no actual pork flesh of any type in the photo. Judges, can we get a ruling, please? Guilty or not guilty? Fail or no? (Just messin' with a former COHTF camper, Bettendorf.) |
