2006, 120,000 miles, and I walked out with it for 10k... not 19k

Not bad,  but I would've gotten a 4Runner instead.

Great vehicle.  It's drivetrain is just now getting broken in.

Paid that for a '98 4X4 Limited 4Runner w/ 56,000mi that was absolutely pristine in 2006. Waved the cash under the sales mgrs nose and he swallowed it. Was traded in the day before, I was there when they opened next morning.

You did great IMO as long as the regular maintenance has been done.  Had an 06 Tundra that I purchased new and put 280,000+ hard miles on it. Not one problem – just routine stuff like batteries, brakes, etc.  Best vehicle I have ever owned by far.

The first generation Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia (actually any model before 2007 or so) were much better quality than the current offerings IMO.  Look at a second generation Sequoia with similar miles as your 2006. I think that you will find yours to be better (tighter, fewer rattles, interior holding up better, etc).

I believe that this was due to Toyota changing their focus and being obsessed with becoming bigger than GM.  Quality became second to quantity.  Remember the pedal recall fiasco? [/rambling]

Congrats and enjoy your Sequoia!

You did great at 10k!

How did you get them to come down so much?

Well, other than 19 being ridiculous.

It was a whole sale place and he didn't think i knew that. So I told him I was only willing to spend 7500, he meet me in the middle. I think its been slow for the owner for a little while the way he talked as we where leaving I dont think he was BS'ing me because I had already bought the thing and had title in hand.
