The wording of the poll is very ambiguous: "is it fair to sue Bushmaster?" as opposed to: does Bushmaster owe compensation to the victims.

Anyone can sue anyone. Fairness of litigation has nothing to do with it.

There's something fishy about the results being displayed. The comments appear to be 100% opposed to the suit, but the histogram shows evenly balanced pro-suit and anti-suit results.
