Every time I type the letter m on an online web site it comes out as a number 1. I had to type this in word and copy it over in order to get it to work.

Laptop with numlock on?

If you are on a laptop there is a numlock function key that will turn some of your character keys into a keypad like substitute. On my laptop

789=789
UIO=456
JKL=123
M=0

Laptop? If so, most of them don't have a separate numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard. Certain FN, CTRL ALT or Super key combinations will activate/ deactivate the numbers and reactive the letters.
