I don't think this has been done recently. But in light of recent events, when do we go into Iraq (and why if you're so inclined)? If you don't think we're going in, why? OPSEC/COMSEC applies. Post "guesstimates" only. I'll start. I think we are going to attack Iraq. As to when, I'd guess sometime in February of 2003 (to maybe early March?). |

Some time between 27/January and 14/Febuary... Especially since Saddam has joined Slick Willy in the 'technically-deniable' department (again)... Clinton: I did not have sexual relations with that woman (I just had her ...) Saddam: I do not have any weapons of mass distruction (but I've got the shells to deliver them)... Yo Mr Hussein, wash that paint off your hands, they look awfull red... |

Quoted: Quoted: According to UN resolution 687, this is a legit material breach. They are not to have any weapons components, including delivery components. This could get interesting. Nope, they're saying it's proof that Iraq has been destroying CW's... Wrong again Dunkey |

On all the political shows this weekend (Face the Nation, Meet the Press, etc...) the people in the know were estimating mid February. Reason being that it will still be fairly cool in Iraq, and they expect our guys to be in full MOPPS the entire time. They are going to use the cool weather to their advantage since no man can fight effectively in a long term conflict in the desert heat while wearing a complete NBC suit. |

These are empty chemical warheads Iraq imported in the 80's. There was no traces of chemicals on the said warheads. However, why aren't these warheads accounted for? Because Iraq is trying to hide them. They did what I would have done. Split them up in small groups so if one is found "Oh, that's where those were, we've been looking for them." bullshit that Iraq is now saying. Iraq still has not accounted for 8 tons of VX gas, just because we don't find them doesn't mean Iraq does not have them. |
