Looks like a species of Longhorn beetle (Cerambycidae) to me. Wood-borer.
They massacre certain types of trees and shrubs but leave others alone. Got any shrubs nearby that have branches that are dry and dead, or trees looking sicky with dead/dying leaves? They're really slow insects and don't react much to stimulus. They just kind of sit there going "Derp dee derp dee derp." |
