Quoted: Looks like a species of Longhorn beetle (Cerambycidae) to me. Wood-borer. http://waynesword.palomar.edu/images/prionu3.jpg They massacre certain types of trees and shrubs but leave others alone. Got any shrubs nearby that have branches that are dry and dead, or trees looking sicky with dead/dying leaves? They're really slow insects and don't react much to stimulus. They just kind of sit there going "Derp dee derp dee derp." |
