A relation of mine just got airlifted to the hospital, where they transferred him into "in-patient palliative care hospice". Once I heard that, it just made me pause, and I thought of a line out of Grimm's #177:
...Then one day someone tapped on his shoulder. He looked around, and death was standing behind him, who said, "Follow me. The hour of your departure from this world has come." We had our differences but I salute a tough dude it was an honor to know. That's all I have to say. |
