What is your experience with Basic Talk, Magic Jack or the other VoIP products out there? |

I've used majic jack for several years, not perfect but for a couple of bucks a month it is my 'home' number. I use it for just about anything that requires a number, that way my cell isn't ringing off the wall. If it is out it forwards a voice mail to your email. Mine goes out about once every 2 months when they do a software update. I get an email and go reboot it. If you need to depend on it or use your home phone a lot, I don't know how well it would perform. It also would not do a fax originally, don't know about now. |
