The store has either been buying her food stamps, illegally, or she has a bank issued EBT, which you can, wrongly, get money from.
The store has likely been caught buying , for instance, $100 worth for $40, where they ring up $100 on the register, and give $40 in cash back to the customer with no goods changing hands. That will get the store's EBT machines taken out and the store owner and clerk fined. They know they're being watched now and won't play the game and she's pissed. |

Dude had been letting her use that card to get cash back before, using the system of cheating, trading EBT for money. The stores don't care who's card you have, and don't check ID, all they care is you have the PIN number. Some people that are on food stamps actually are on them for the right reason, and cannot, due to being crippled get out and get food, so they send a friend or family member to get the groceries on their card for them. This however, is exactly what I stated, the store has been caught and is being watched by the state, and is not playing "the food stamp game" right now.
