I while back I bought a flattop mount for my compact ACOG. It was a cheap mount I picked up somewhere online. It worked great for a while until today at the range I noticed it was coming loose, I tightened the two thumbscrews, zeroed the scope, and after about an hour later it loosened again. I got home and decided to get rid of the flattop mount and put it on a detchable carry handle I had laying around. I could not separate the ACOG from the mount. I tried so hard that I stripped the screw that holds it to the mount. What can I do to remove it from the mount. Should I contact Trijicon, and see if they can help? Any input would be appreciated.
