I am with you. my left hip and knee hurt all the time. at some point will probably have to have them replaced. I try to exercise and stay and shape which helps some but still aches. At night it sometimes hard to get to sleep. Old sucks, you are right about that.

Your not supposed to arrive at your gravesite in well preserved condition.
Your supposed to skid in sideways completely worn out.

I fear the cure for death will come as I hit 60 something, forever to be a 60 something old man.

Embrace the pain, it will make death feel like a good alternative.

I'm trying to figure out how much this next MRI is going to cost me, and then how much a new knee is on top of that.
Getting pretty sick of this one.

Like most of you, I have aches and pains on a daily basis. But the thing that sucks most to me about getting old(er), is losing so many of the most important people in your life. To me, that sucks worse than any physical pain.

That's always an issue.  I worked with some poor bastard that had to have both hips replaced in his 40's.

There's no guarantee on outcomes with joint replacements. But I'm getting pretty sick of dealing with this.

I'm 30 and share the sentiment.  I can't imagine what I'll be like if I make it to 70.  Luckily, the ravenous diet of ibuprofen and pain killers will probably get me before I make it that far.

Every time my knees ache I remember 3rd grade. We use to get going as fast as we could on the swings then jump out. Who ever landed the furthest away was the winner. I usually won.
