im about to drop the hammer on a shot timer. it will be used at my backyard range for training and will see occasional use at USPSA/3 gun/Rimfire matches.

most of the places in my area use the pocket pro which is what i have.  works as needed.  the ced one is ok but uses an internal battery.  the wrist watch one is cool.   if you can get enough people to buy 5 of the pocket pros you get the 6th free and i think if you are a uspsa member you get 10% off also.  we did this and sold the 6th to offset our final cost

Every club that I shoot at uses the Pocket Pro (or Pocket Pro 2).  I have a Pocket Pro 2, and have been pleased with it.

Pocket Pro 2, just dont put the 9v battery in backwards.

I haven't tried this one, but the two I have tried actually record the sounds of gunshots at a distance of a few inches once in a great while.  However they seem to record the sounds of drawing and reholstering without trouble.

Iow, useless for anything but a convinient par timer when dry firing.
