I got a message from am aquaintance from Afghanistan to call him, so I did. I was a civilian contractor over there for a couple of years. This guy was a civilian, I always thought anyway. We were not close friends, and I had not heard from him in 5 years.
We started talking and went through the general stuff. Then he started off on obama and the government and how bad things were. I am pretty vocal about my opinion on this most of the time. I don't hide it. So anyway, he told me only had a few minutes as he had an appointment at the state department. I have no idea what he does. But he wanted me to know he felt the same way I did, but it was probably not a good idea to be so blatant about it. After a few minutes of this we got off the phone. The more I thought about it, the more I got to thinking I had just had a polite warning. Wondering if I am too paranoid. |
