Any other fans?

Been listening to Katatonia a bit lately, digging their "post growling" stuff a lot.

Atheist, Cynic , Dysrhythmia are all worth checking out I'm a big prog fan in general.

DEVIN TOWNSEND

Not necessarily prog, but worth checking out. He is all over the place genre wise.

YEA

but Atheist and Cynic are good too. Can probably add later Death and Control Denied to that list i guess

Who cares! They are awesome.

I would say yes. They have enough time changes. Someone needs to make a "prog" chart

There's lots of good prog metal, but it's a broad range.

One of my favorite prog-power bands that not a lot of folks have heard of:

A few months back i stated reading (and listening, it includes a CD) PROG magazine which is printed in England and can be bought at Barnes & Noble. Opened up my eyes and ears to a lot of amazing other bands out there.

And of course, Nevermore.  Not as proggy as some of the way out there stuff, but progressive nonetheless.

This is from one of my favorite metal albums of all time.

I have finally burned myself out on that.

I think if they gained some other influences they could be in for the long haul. Just too much reliance on the one technique : djent.
