FWIW, tri-tip isn't common here either (PA), but I have found it in Whole Foods. Although not in the aisles, they had some hidden behind the counter so you had to ask for it specifically. $10/lb here. A local farm sells grass fed for $16 |

That's when the freezer gets filled up. :-) Never seen a Stater Bros. I was hoping for a Memorial Day sale at one of the grocery stores, but no such luck. |
