I used to be able to go to flickr, pick a size of a photo I want, go into properties and copy and paste the link. Now I can't. I guess I havn't been going to flickr much.

Didn't arfcom have a photo hosting feature? I have tried to post a pick but text is around the photo. I can't even tell if the photo I am trying to post is there because sometimes it only shows up when I hit preview.

Is it time to find a new photo hosting site for this purpose? Why of why did they mess up flickr?!? I used to use photobucket till they messed that up, then I switched to flicker.

Now the world is deprived of my images.

Just use imgur.

ARF does have a hosting service, but I think it's for Gold membership level and up.

Can anyone see this pic of my doggies on my quad?

http://<a href=IMG_0237</a> by gitarmac, on Flickr" />

eta: I can see it when I hit "preview" but when I submit it I see text and a link to my flickr account, which I am sure I don't want.

I hate to have to go to another site and upload a bunch of pics but if that's what i have to do . . . .

It would probably be more worth it to become a gold member of this site rather than pay a photo site that constantly changes to be less and less useful. [url]http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/icon_smile_angry.gif" />

Yes but I could not find the link that you found, that I used to easily find.

How did you do that?!?  I tried the different "sharing" formats and tried to go into properties!

You can still use Flickr. I do it all the time.

Go to the picture, click view all sizes. Then you can do the properties and copy the URL. Or if you use Firefox or Chrome, just right click it and click copy image URL.

That's how I used to do it but "view all sizes" is gone for me.

Aha!!! I think I found my problem. I have to go into the edit menu to see that stuff.

I don't remember having to do that before. Oh well.

At least the world is deprived no longer. Thanks to all.

I finally figured it out.

It used to be the first thing to pop up but I hadn't been there so long and it's changed somewhat.

We need a dunce cap smily.

You title was misleading.

It should have been "Flickr changed the way you get link to post on arfcom"

Arfcom didn't change anything just to be clear
