Yeah. A little seasoning would make the ground beef taste quite a bit better. I have no idea why they make them so bland, or so expensive. The fries are decent, but that's it. Quoted:

Based on this thread I think that Five Guys are like Tilted Kilt. Some are awesome and some are meh depending on where you are. Fortunately, my area seems to have great Five Guys and Tilted Kilts.
I have never ordered anything but the burgers |

I also agree, some five guys are better than others. That's true for any chain.

That tastes better too. 5 Guys is so meh. Smashburger is better if I need something with bacon and their rolls are MUCH better. Quoted:

I can get a burger and fries at In N Out for less than a burger at Five Guys. ![]() That tastes better too. 5 Guys is so meh. Smashburger is better if I need something with bacon and their rolls are MUCH better. Don't know if you have it in NV, but there is a semi-sit down place called Habit Burger. $2.95 for a burger, $4.10 for bacon BBQ. Only a bit more than In N Out but even better. But In N Out is still a good value for the price. McDonald's charges $8-9 for a small meal last I checked.

| Every time I eat at 5 guys I get sick to my stomach. It's like I ate a ball of clay. It all tastes good going down but 30 min later my gut feels like shit. I stopped going there. Anyways I live at the beach and there are so may burger bars and beach bars that serve world class burgers it makes no sense to eat a chain burger.....maybe Wendy's but thats it....or maybe what-a-burger with jalapeños... |

Stake and Shake works just fine for me at less than half the price. Quoted:

Tolerable burgers and decent fries, but none of it worth the $12 it costs to get out of there with them and a drink. This whole "gourmet" burger trend is lost on me. Stake and Shake works just fine for me at less than half the price. Agreed. Better burger and a much better value. |
