These are tiny, black and almost look like ants. When they crawl they either are alone or kinda drag a friend behind them. Found a mini colony of them under the dog house in back yard. It was a dirt area and they were not deep in the ground, but just at surface. I sprayed yard with multi-bug yard treatment and it seemed to kill em all. Trying to figure out wtf this is and can't get a better picture till morning.

I already know GD is gonna have some retarded answers and bitch about pictures taken with a potato, but lets see what the hive can come up with.

below you can see scale of the bug, that is a 1/2 inch dog hair next to it.

How can you be certain they're dead?

Did you check for a pulse or hold a tiny mirror up to their mouths?

For all you know they could be resting or simply passed out from insecticide intoxication.

Hmm since i found about 250-300 of them piled up in the dirt and a few inside the door of the basement. I believe to the best of my knowledge their freaking dead jim.

Dibbs on your good shit.

That's all I got for ya.

ETA. Get yourself some food grade DE. It's cheap, effective, and won't harm the dag unless you really go overboard on the application.
