| im in the process of stripping the old worn semi- transparent stain off our house and we are really leaning toward using a solid stain. the siding is yellow pine log siding and its about 12 years old the local paint stores (not big name) have CABOT, olympic, sikkens and sherwin williams. have any of you guys got any input on what brand i should go with? my wife really wants a solid stain to get rid of most of the wood grain. i can really care less as long as it lasts a long time. it will just be on the siding the decks are all composite. so what does the hive have to say? |
