Don't do the double click on the name. Add the server and then join it. Seems to work better. Quoted:

It's been a few years since I've played ARFCOM minecraft.... Are the servers still experiencing periodic crashes and resets? All servers will do this to you. Mind you Minecraft is an indie creation, there is no publisher operated server network. All servers and the hosts are privately operated and funded. A lot of crashes can be the direct fault of your host, and there's not much you can do about it besides paying for a more reliable one. |

Quoted: tech mods? magic mods? content adders like biomes o plenty? extra blocks? micro parts? if no.. glorified vanilla ![]() Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: arfcom sever is great anfd all but vanilla is pretty boring. ![]() ![]() |

Those are some nice builds! I could never get minecraft, simple premise and terrible graphics, but I did a little building in my gf's world and it was kinda fun.
I wound up getting fortresscraft evolved. Thats more up my alley with all the sci fi machinery. They're all fun games when you get into em, kinda like building with legos. I got guncraft for a buck a couple days ago, but I don't really get it yet. Like minecraft COD. I'll have to point my chick towards your server and check it out. |

I don't think you know what vanilla actually means. |

I don't think you know what vanilla actually means. A friend of mine actually runs a pure Vanilla server. Almost unplayable. |

The graphics are relative to the user. I use an HD texture pack on max graphical settings. edit: Also if it's not minecraft its a cheap ripoff. |

Minecraft is a "ripoff" of a game called infiniminer so I hear. Minecraft is just more popular so everybody thinks any other game is a ripoff of it. FCE is based more on mining to gather materials to build machinery to survive than mining for materials to build with. They're all kind of fun, super addictive. it's nice to play something that isn't action packed and frustrating. I've only played MC on the 360, their texture packs are pretty limited, theres a city texture pack that makes things look a little better. |

Horrible way to be introduced to the game. |

so I'm an absolute idiot. Can you walk me through SPECIFICALLY on how to connect via kindle? Absolutely Impossible. No tablets, no phones. You can play with a PC or Mac. You've got to create an account to buy the Desktop version, then you can download the client to play. Here |

Damn, $27... Will the demo work? Or do I need to just stop being such a cheap ass? Demo will not work. But be sure to play it anyway, to help make the decision. And it's nothing like Multiplayer. It's been said before, we've got a ton of extra aides, mods, minigames, etc. Odds are if you're even asking how to connect with a Kindle, you'll like the Desktop version A LOT more. |
