This is the first toy that I remember having.  I was pretty hard on the guy.  I broke the pull string and eventually his head came off.

After that, I was mostly a Legos and Lincoln Logs kinda guy.

12 inch gi joes, because bigger is better.

Also I had this uzi water gun that I loved. Not one of the cool ones that looked like real uzis, because I was born too late for something that cool. It was plastic and orange, with the stock folded. I loved that thing.

I had a ton of G.I. Joes, a battleship, a skateboard and an old single fin Natural Art surfboard that my cousin gave me.

All my other toys I made in my dad's workshop. We made a Kayak, skateboard ramp, cut tons of swords and rifles out of scrap wood.

Yup, Battlestar Galactica toys too.
Before they were neutered.
I liked how they were modular.

I don't think there's a toy gun that I DIDN'T own growing up.

Rubberband guns
Cap guns
Nerf guns
Potato Gun (shot plugs not whole potatoes)
etc

A ton of toy guns, star wars figures and ships.

If I counted the C-64 as a toy, it would be first and probably only as it got more seat time than every toy I ever possessed combined.

Had this same one.  The man became a target once I got my first .22.  Hitting that 6 inch tall man, mid chest, at 50 yards with a M-1 carbine .22 was awesome.

Best video game console ever.

My brother and I each had one of these.  They worked great in our living room, that had a 16' ceiling.  Mom didn't feel the same way though.

Had one those too. Also had a ton of GI Joe men, green plastic army men, and a full size plastic M16, back then seeing a kid running around the large park in the center of town playing war with realistic looking toy guns was no big deal.

First I had a rock to play with:

Then I found a stick to hit the rock around the yard:

Then I found a can to try to hit with the rock:

We were poor.
