I was at poking around last Saturday at the gun shop and they guy at the counter hands a patron an ar patterned rifle and tells him it will shoot both 223 and 300 blackout
then a lady at the counter was asking if they did the 4473 forms electronically because she didn't want to have to fill out the form said she makes a lot of mistakes and it may take a few forms to get it right. Then she said to the person she was with " remember how many times it took me when I bought that gun for Jim" So I went up to take a look at the range and noticed some pictures on the wall of people being arrested at the range. About then the guy behind the counter yells over " you like that?" Those are the idiots we caught doing stuff they shouldn't be doing....something or other. I don't really remember exactly what he said but boy was he proud. Seems that they make a game of trying to bust people. Needles to say I wasn't impressed. Will never go back. Who can name the store? central ohio |

So you were witness to conspiracy to commit a crime. IE: Straw Purchase. yet you still hung around? Nowhere in that post did I see proof of a straw purchase. I saw an idiot who gets confused filling out a simple form (no said all gun buyers were MENSA members) and Jim, for all we know, is her husband who got a nice anniversary gift. ETA: Damn it, 17 seconds. |

Who says she didn't buy Jim a gun as a gift? That's perfectly legal. The 223 vs 300 is unacceptable. I could shoot both. If he switches uppers Even without switching, a 300 upper will shoot 223 at least once. People have even managed to shoot 300 in a 223 upper. I don't really recommend it though. |

I put my First and Middle name in the wrong place because it was backwards to the forms I'd had been filling out all day. They got a good laugh out of it. Asked if I forgot my name and all those jokes.

Oh, you can certainly chamber .300 Blk and shoot it in a 5.56 AR. You might have an interesting day though. Just be sure to film it for YouTube for us all to see.
