How long do you think it will before we have permanent check points?
I'm not taking about DUI checks or the ones close to the borders. I'm talking about at state lines and to enter major cities. |

| They're called DUI checkpoints here. I don't have any problem going after drunks, but our local PD has checkpoints every week. DUI arrests/impounds make up less than half of their arrests/impounds. When the majority of the arrests at a DUI checkpoint are not for DUI, it's just a checkpoint. |
