Anyone watch this show? After seeing about 10 episodes, I've come to the conclusion that: 1) People are getting murdered left and right out there. At this point I'm afraid to leave the house. and 2) Based on the suspects in almost every case, the popo be picking on the brothers. The NAACP must be outraged over this show. |

I'm amazed how freely everyone talks. Just shut up. everyone thinks they can talk their way out of jail. This...many a people have talked themselves into an arrest but never out of.. two most popular phrases on that show Hell nahhh ! Ya feel me dog ?
We had 5 trannies in our jail awhile back, they would not STFU..they could not rat each other out fast enough |

Son #2 is a high school sophomore taking a criminal justice class. They have watched many episodes of this in class. Sometimes, I think it's all they do. ![]() Honestly, they could do a lot worse. It teaches you a lot about human nature. And it's the real deal. |
|
I like the show but it gets extremely repetitive.
Suspect denies being at the crime scene, until they show him on surveillance being at the crime scene. "All right I'm gonna tell ya what happen." Suspect gets shown some piece of evidence. "All right I'm gonna tell ya what happen." Suspects girlfriend comes clean about him not being with her. Suspect hangs head in hands. "All right I'm gonna tell ya what happen." |

I used to watch it all the time. My wife said the show was "borning." Real life isn't like Law and Order, CSI, or Castle. Those shows are simply entertainment. Oh, and STFU. Just about everyone talks about someone who then leads the detectives to the murderer and then the murderer says too much convicting him/herself. That most of the murders in the hood are over drugs or some really stupid stuff. |

Quoted: People are getting murdered left and right out there. At this point I'm afraid to leave the house. Most of the people who are murdered on that show, or at least a large percentage of them, seem to be criminal dirtbags who hang out with other criminal dirtbags. If you're not a criminal your chances of being murdered drop dramatically. |

this! I dont remember the show, but they really had nothing on this guy, and he talked his way into a corner and then confessed! If he would have shut up, he would have walked out that day at least! Quoted:

Seriously. 3/4 of them talk their way into jail. If they would just be quiet the police wouldn't have anything to charge them with. Quoted:

I mean, those detectives interrogate people day in and day out for years. If you they had a lick of sense they would realize that the police are probably pretty experienced at it. Do you think you can show up one day and frame a house better than a carpenter that does it every day? Probably not. |

Awesome show. I've watched the show since inception. Well over ten years. Yes, people ARE getting murdered brutally left and right. My favorite episodes are the early days in Miami and the few seasons during which the show was shot in Memphis.
Atlanta didn't even last a complete year. What was that, two seasons ago? The city of Decatur pulled the plug to contain the damage. As I watched the few episodes that made it to market I was reminded of the reasons I avoid all that is DeKalb County like the HIV. Any one remember the case from Memphis where one guy, carrying without a permit but not a hood rat per se, put a head shot on his attacker from 70' with a G21? One of my favorite investigations. Not the only episode either where a person was cleared of homicide charges for acting in self defense Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I really can't believe the show is still on the air. The PC police must just be afraid to watch it. It really tell it like it is in regard to homicide in the US. The two really big takeaways:
People who get murdered in the US are very, very often involved in criminal activity within the 12 hours or so before their murder. Murder victims almost always share the same race/ethnicity as their killers. |

The other dude came at him with a G17 with a 33 rd mag. He had a plastic grocery bag around his hand to catch the spent casings. |

Murder victims almost always share the same race/ethnicity as their killers. It seems to me at least, in smaller towns or more affluent areas, murders are more domestic/family/money related. But in the highly urban/poor areas, you're right, same race and criminal activity is usually always a precursor. |

Been watching it for hears. One of my favorite shows. It's real reality. And 90% of suspects would get off if they just didn't say anything. Even some of the worst people on this planet can't stand the soul crushing guilt of having murdered someone. I've seen it first hand myself. Some think they are smart enough to talk their way out of it. And some are too dumb to know any better. |

I believe they proved that the dead guy was doing a drive by on the shooter shooting through a paper bag to catch the casings when he got melon plugged... |

The NAACP must be outraged over this show. They have repeatedly complained. I listened to a talk radio show one evening and a "Community Organizer" was bitching as the show usually covers Black offenders. He didn't care most of the victims were also Black, just stated the show stereotyped Black yutes.
