I have a gun with a break on it in Chambered in 375 Ruger and I like to bring it out if people are being annoying with range etiquette.  Tends to clear the range out quick.

I will admit I have gotten ahead of myself a couple times with this rifle
Once was UNDER a metal barn
Once was INSIDE a box blind
Both times I just reacted to the animal I saw at the time & knew I didn't have time to do anything BUT grab the rifle & shoot

I did make DRT shots on both though
It is a good excuse for not listening to my wife when I don't want to though

I love my Nikon scopes, have one on a 30-06 as well.
I have the "Spot on" ap in my phone that is awesome.
You select the scope, caliber, bullet manufacturer, load data, it grabs & inputs local weather into the calculation, wind ect.
Hit fire & viola

You can expand the reticle to be more precise

It gives you ballistic charts out to 1000yds

Pretty neat, makes this dumb redneck feel almost like a sniper

Do I even rifle? No. I don't rifle. If I did, I wouldn't rifle with a synthetic stocked push feed .375 with a muzzle brake, bipod, and a giant scope.

Just kidding. Your rifle is still dildos though. That bipod has got to go.

What is your usage opinion on the BOSS system?

Do you notice any appreciable difference between it (other than it looks awful ) and a normal barrel?

Love me some .375H&H.
My baby is a Winchester model 70 Safari... No glass yet.
My gun loves the 300gr loads. 270s won't group as tight no matter how I load em. 300's have a good knack for cloverleaf groupings.
That, and they hit like the hammer of Thor.

My .375
Remington 700 AWR with Leupold rings and bases and VXIII 1.75-6x32. Under 7.5 pounds. Sadly, Ive only shot it a handful of times and never enough to actually get it dialed in. That needs to change soon.

I'll have to double check but places like Botswana, South Africa, nambia, and Tanzania require bigger than a .375 for dugga boys. I guess you'll just have to buy a .458 now manga ports on it make it only bruise the skin and not break a collar bone lol

Absolutely it works, I was lucky that I didn't have to waste a ton of ammo just to tune it, got it dialed in pretty quick.
The brake works as well, it came with an optional weighted end to use if you don't like the brake but you don't want to shoot it much off a bench without the brake I promise

I have a BOSS on my 7mm Mag Browning A-bolt medallion.

I find it cut recoil a lot - as compared to my old Winchester 70 in 7mm Mag.

See above^^ I DO have a 458 & have everything from 300gr plinker rounds all the way up to 540gr hardcast
I find that the 458 is more of a shove  like a shotgun, I don't mind it as much as the sharpness of the 375.

With a 270gr pill out of a 375, placement isn't much of an issue. Just ask doubleAron

I damn near bought THAT very model a few years ago.
Thank you for posting in honor of it.
Fine firearm!

I ended up with the Remington 700 / .375 ULTRA MAG for my .375.
