Anyone have one? How do they work? Any issues? They are less than 2 1/2 inches longer than a standard 30rd mag, is the extra length that much more noticeable? Does the extra length seem awkward?
Thinking about getting some just for shits and giggles. edit: to correct title |

Vaporware. not in stock. the thing might as well me a myth. just like .22LR. We hear stories from elders that cheap plinking ammo existed. that they were a boring, undesired ammo, everywhere to be found. but then. they were gone. Actually, I know a place that has some in stock. Considering buying, just can't talk myself into it. ETA: According to their website, they have 369 of the 40rd Pmags in stock at $18.95 each. ($18.50 ea. if you buy 10 or more) |

I Mag clamped 2 of the magpul 40 rounders together. It makes mag dumps much more exhausting . Quoted:

I've never had problems getting as many as I've needed over the past 6+ months. |

I know of at least 3 places including a vendor in the EE. They do sell out but come back in stock in short order. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

They're great. After the next AWB, you'll be kicking yourself for not buying any. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Will say this...I bought 5 when they first came out and one will not seat no matter what condition the gun is in. Magpul said they will take care of it no problem but haven't taken the time to send it back. |

I have a few, but haven't tried them out yet. Here's a pic to give you an idea of what they look like in the gun. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vtFqDAgc8E8/Uih-ZoF007I/AAAAAAAADI0/ZXdT-CCdGb8/s800/IMG_3229%2520%2528Large%2529.JPG |

Ahhh......fuck it. I did it. I bought 2 and a Pmag coupler (2-40 rounders coupled together is a hell of a lot cheaper than a 100rd beta mag). So the 2 40rd Pmags added to my collection of 32-30 rounders (not including the one I converted to hold 5 rounds for hunting) means I can hold 1040rds of ammo.
(2*40)+(32*30)= 1040. I also just toped off my stashed ammo (had to dip into it during the shortage) so I have 1000rds (actually 1009, not sure how I ended up with 9) and I ordered 1000rds of wolf plus picked up 260rds of Tula from Wal-Mart for practice! Now I just need 40 more rounds of brass for my stash ammo. edit: to correct my math |
