I have and amplifier (2 channel Rotel, no volume control) hooked up to an older iPod directly through the dock connector. Sounds fine but volume controls on my iPod (and newer iPhone 5) do not work. I'm using the Apple Composite AV cable to connect the dock and the amplifier RCA inputs.
Any idea other than a pre-amp? |
