Who do you think will win this years Masters?

I like Jason Day or Matt Kuchar for the win.   Dark horse is Sergio.

Contest:  Guess the winner and win a P-mag.   One guess, player can only be chosen once.

I think Couples ball not rolling in the water on 12 in 1992 was a more important result of a shot than Tiger chipping in.

Lots of first timers this year:

There are a lot of players who have a real shot at winning.  I don't know whether that makes the talent pool shallow or deep.

Two different kind of golf shots; one was a full iron the other was a chip. Both were awesome.

I don't care who wins the Master's as long as it isn't that fat guy who thinks he is in the top five of the world of golf.

I've always enjoyed watching him play.  He's certainly done well at Augusta during practice.

Oh, and if Rickie wins it, I'll, uh... well, we'll figure out something else to with my PMAG

Nice.  I can tell that you are a golfer.

I do play quite often, but I am a hacker as opposed to a golfer. My best score was a 65. Then I played the back nine!! One thing that really disappointed me this year was that the PTB at Augusta chose not to pair Craig and Kevin Stadler in the first two rounds. I have been a fan of the "walrus" since I was young and I think that would have been awesome to see him play with his son. Oh well.
It would also be nice to see an "old timer" put up a good score or win. I was truly saddened when Cink beat Watson a few years back in THE OPEN. I was really rooting for the "old man."

I was out there all afternoon yesterday.  I'm going to go with Ernie Els.  I know they all want it really bad, but he seemed more wrapped up in his chipping, putting, and studying of the greens than I saw from most others yesterday.

Helluva' showing so far, and he's primed to make more history.
From CBS:

Jordan Spieth, welcome to the history books.

The 20-year-old posted a third-round 70 and became just the third Masters rookie ever to shoot under par in each of his first three rounds at Augusta.  The other two were Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979 and Larry Mize in 1984.  You know what else Zoeller did in his first Masters?  He won.  And if young Spieth, who at 5 under shares the Masters lead with Bubba Watson going into Sunday, can replicate what Zoeller did that year he'll have his own spot carved out in golf history.
If Spieth wins the Masters he will become the youngest Masters winner ever, besting Tiger Woods in 1997 by a full five months.

Spieth used two birdies in his last five holes to sneak into the Masters lead. His shots belied his youth. His patience was profound.

"We could tell early on that the greens were pretty ridiculous, that's just the Masters," said Spieth to CBS' Bill Macatee. "You can't let your focus go astray for one moment."
If Spieth can hang on he would also become just the second golfer under the age of 20 to win a stroke play professional major in the last 100 years.

And a little slice of history is already his alone. According to Justin Ray of ESPN Spieth is the youngest golfer ever to play in the final pairing in the final round at Augusta.

I'm hoping for the young Jordan.  A little tidbit: 1963, Nicklaus became youngest Masters champ. Seve did it 17 years later. Tiger 17 years after that. Spieth would be 17 years after Woods.

Wouldn't mind seeing Kooch claw his way up but think with Sunday's pin placement - the field may go backwards.

I think the odds are against Bubba on winning again.

Boom-boom would be my Dark Horse and hope he has his putter on the charger.

The Leaderboard shaped up to be better than I thought it would be.   Looking like it will be another fun back nine today.

The 17 phenomena is pretty wild.  Haven't heard about that.   With that being said, I'll be pulling for Spieth.
He's looking like he is going to have a very successful future.   Be of luck to him.
