Hey, guys.  Got another question for you experts out there.

One of my computers is currently a Dell Pentium 3 846Mhz with 256MB RAM, running Windows XP Pro.  It has a ATI Radeon VE DDR graphics card (I think 32MB) in it.

The graphics seem pretty nice, but I'm wondering if there might be a better card out there for under $100 that I could get that would make gaming better on this computer.  Something odd I noticed was that when I tried to install an older game (Warcraft 2) on this computer it wouldn't run but it runs just fine on my newer computer.  I recall reading somewhere that some of video cards that came out since Warcraft 2 were somehow not backwards compatible with some older games.  I'd really like to get that game to run on this computer so my wife and I can play it against each other on our home network.

So, any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

if you want to stay around $100, I'd say get a GeForce 4 MX 440 card. You'll get good performance out of it.

However, for only about $50 more you can get a Titanium-level card. The 64MB GeForce 4 Ti4200 is a screamer of a card.

The high end cards have all started faling in price, which usually means some new releases will be coming soon.

The GeForce 4 MX is only a slightly hopped-up GeForce 2 MX.  Don't buy it.

You've got a decent card.  If you want a significant improvement, you'll likely need to shell out at least $250 before you'd actually notice a difference.

Personally, I'd save your money and buy more ammo.
