Some here may know of my "other story". Sadly (or triumphantly) I did it to myself again. Fell through a floor grate on a jobsite Tuesday not just fracturing but shattered my left scapula (shoulder blade). None of
Th orthopedist surgeons have ever seen a fractued one let alone one as destroyed as mine Im still in the hospital out of the er but admitted to try and get the horrific pain under comtrol while dr's see if surgery is in my near Future. The may be some non-surgical otions but ill have to "suck it up buttercup" as I Cant go home with anywhere near the type and quantity of meds Im currently on. Plase send some positive thoughts my way and for My poor roomate who is a long way from home (a truck driver that had his ankle cushed + surgery) |

Sorry to hear about your accident.
How far did you fall and was your scapula the only thing hurt? It seems odd you can break your shoulder blade and not mess up a bunch of other stuff in the process. And how long will you be out of commission? Anyway. Hope your feeling better soon. At least you can still surf ARFCOM. |
