Lol. Most of us in the real non union world understand that if you don't show up to work, you get fired. I have a hard time feeling bad for any of these people, union contract or not.

My Father in law worked for ups for 25 or so years. He said every time you fuck up they fire you and then the union gets your hired back.
He told me shit about how they treat cops that give tickets to ups drivers and how they just did not get tickets anymore. If you gave them tickets you just did not get any deliveries again. To this day even in his personal truck he does not get tickets. Hard to believe he worked jumping out of that brown truck for 25 years after retiring from the air force with a disability . His knees were worn out or so he said . yea I don't have much use for him and his parking in handicapped spots with his disabled vet plates while real men with real disability's are struggling to get out of bed and get to the shitter. |

My first sup. did twenty in the AF running the mail, retired from UPS after twenty and just got a job with FedEx
He offered me a job with them but I just couldn't do it. - As far as the OP, Teamsters will be Teamsters

Guy at our church was within a couple years of retireing. He did a TDY and screwed up the addition on his time card. They fired him. The union said they would get his job back but he couldn't work in the interim and it would take three years.
He left for a menial job. I know UPS flight management is the worst. Love the paycheck, hate the job. TC |

Once I showed the district manager the texts between me and my on road he changed his tune and my dumbass on road has since found a new job. Still waiting on what the DOT has to say about the matter though
