Okay I know two ways for finding the area of a circle
Pi X radius, squared and Diameter squared X 0.07854 I know where Pi comes from but what does 0.07854 come from and does it have a name? |

I'll say it was either Common Core or missed the decimal point. Quoted:

Pi/4 equals .7854. Not sure where you picked up the zero though. fortunately I am old enough to have missed common core |

It comes from the fact that you are doubling the radius first (ie using the diameter) then squaring it. 2 x 2 = 4. Therefore you must divide pi by 4 giving you 0.78539. |
