I was inspired to paint my Ironwood Design stock in a Texas motif. The pistol grip got a little too much blue so I need to wait a little longer to let it cure. The white are on the pg will be red and the masking tape at the top will be removed to reveal white. All that's left is to put on a couple of coats of clear. Now, a question. Should I use a clear poly? If not, what should I use? |

Quoted: http://webpages.charter.net/jeff.hoeft/pics/TexAK2.jpg OMG...is that one of those new GAY-Ks? [;)] Just kidding. That rifle is spectacular. There is nothing gay about it. Makes me proud to be a Texan. Really Nice Job BungHole. If IWD ever gets any stock sets back in...would ya consider doing mine for a small fee? |

Quoted: This is my Chinese Mak-90. The last time I finished finished the stock, I wasn't happy with it. But to all you naysayers, this thing will will shoot a one hole one shot group at 500 yards just because of the new paintjob. [:D] Now that is a true homeland defense rifle. I'd love to see an AR15.com "uniform" in similar colors. |
