My cousin and I got Wrist Rockets for Christmas the same year.
When the first sets of tubing wore out and broke, we replaced them with some heavy-duty surgical tubing that his Mom, (a nurse) acquired for us. You could hunt elk with them, once we got strong enough to actually pull them back!

We used to shoot carp with them. We used marbles. When I was a kid the town run below the sewage treatment plant was so deprived of O2 the carp would rise and take a glup of air. There would be hundreds of them doing that. Talk about your shooting gallery. ![]() Yep, had a place where carp and gar would constantly surface. We would shoot til we ran outta ammo. |

Been totally hooked on them for the past few years and use Trumarks. Since there's a Bass Pro nearby, I have plenty of spare tubes. Avoid the Daisey slingshots as they're flimsy junk and the handles will break, possibly injuring you. For ammo I use 3/8" steel, .36 lead, .54 lead, .69 lead and arrows. In the backyard I can destroy soda cans out to 45+ feet. The problem with slingshots is that most people don't use the right grip or stance and aren't willing to put in the practice.
Check out Master Billy Hays, Madison Parker ( former SEAL, not the porno gal ), pfshooter and plenty of others on YouTube. Check out slingbows too, it gives you the ability to launch arrows from a slingshot with enough power to nail small game to the ground. |

I can't find mine. I need 11.50 on my amazon order for free shipping. I have Trumark folding sling shot, black power bands and some steel shot. What can I add?
Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile After checking out the blow guns, I decided to just get a second sling shot for a friend at work, he's going to be stoked. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I have a Wrist Rocket that belonged to my grandfather. I used to be very good with it. I should try to find it and get a new band for it.
As a 14 year old kid, I took out a window of what I thought was an abandoned building at 33 yards with it. It turned out someone lived there and the rock almost hit them. The guy chased my friend and I down and made us replace the window. Somehow no cops or parents were involved. |
I always have mine in my hunting backpack. The rancher that we lease from said that was the best way to teach the calves to stay away from our feed pens. Oh man, he should have never told me that. I've never had so much fun with a sling shot and a pocket full of rocks

Wrist rocket kicks butt. Marbles for great and cheap ammo.
Bring your marbles up to boil in a pot, dump the hot water and add cold water. This will fracture the marbles so they shatter when they hit something. I hear that it keeps people from shooting them back at you also. |

I own one and know someone who works for them. They're priced just fine, too. |

Banned in California as a weapon of mass destruction. ![]() They're illegal in Massachusetts as well. NY too of course. WTF is it with busy-body control freaks? In my book, it's your inherent right to own them, they're arms and they're protected by the 2nd. |

Take. My. Money. My grandpa carried slingshots all his life and could bust hell out of critters at the back of his garden. When I was a teenager he made one from a piece of milking machine hose that he split. That one was so powerful I couldn't draw it without breaking my wrist until I was 16 or 17 years old, and I struggled then. Grandpa was lifetime farmer and just about the strongest man I've known. |

Picked up a simple shot slingshot last year. I take it bow hunting as I often see squirrels as well. It is a fun item to have. I really need to practice more to get consistent. What kind? It is a Scout model , polymer body slingshot. |

Fred is down..
