Guy was trying to make a point about how we all gave pre-programmed responses to certain actions....or some such fucking non-sense, guy is a complete tool.
Anyway....tool knows I have a 3 year old daughter and says this.... "Say I came over your house and started killing your daughter....you'd try to kill me, right?" I told him I'd like to kill him just for asking that question. Am I crazy or is the question completely inappropriate? |

I don't know if that's a preprogrammed response as much as it is an obvious response.
Someone saying "good" or "well" after you ask them "how are you?" is a preprogrammed response. "if you were drowning and I threw you a life preserver would you grab it?" "yes"... obvious response not preprogrammed. Defending your family to the fullest extent of the law is obvious, not preprogrammed. Incidentally the correct answer to his question is "No, I wouldn't try to kill you...I would" |

A predictable response is not the same as a per-programmed one. |

Huh? I'd break laws to defend my family and not think once about it
This is a public forum on the internet. If you are involved in a self defense type shooting your posts may end up in evidence... Just a thought. Choose your words wisely...the internet never forgets |

Would you react the same way if he said "say some guy breaks into your house and starts killing your daughter"?
There's really no context here but it sounds like it was a poorly worded hypothetical and rhetorical question and not much more. You apparently got into a debate with some guy, who could be a friend/ relative/ coworker/random bar guy/etc. and he throws out some hypothetical situation trying to make his point and you'd like to kill him over it?

question,
