I have a M4s i bought a few years back.

Why is the PRO 1/2 the price?

They are both 2 MOA.

M4 has 7 years battery life on a AA for one PRO has I think 2 or 3 on a non standard battery

Pro manufacturing fEquipment is depreciated and costed out.   Aimpoint wins market share selling quality proven optic to cops and consumers.  Gets brownie points for selling affordable optic to cops who get paid shit in some parts of the Country

I already neckbearded a bunch of T1's.

So should i buy a few more M4's or will the pro's be better for the next panic?
