I need a software, preferable free that I can setup to turn off my wifi during non-business hours.
Anything out there? It is a netgear router. |

Have you checked the Netgear firmware on the router itself to see if it has the ability to disable clients from connecting during non business hours? See if your Netgear router supports DD-WRT or Tomato/Tomato USB firmware as those have a LOT more configuration features than the stock router firmware. |

I believe that the OPEN DDWRT firmware has that capability. http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/index However an easier solution is to use a dedicated router and merely have a wireless access point... then you can put the wireless access point on a regular old timer from home depot. |

You may need to upgrade hardware OP; I suggest Asus' line of devices. |

that actually may cause issues if you don't have a static IP and have things they need to be stable. those also tend to bleed rf noise like crazy and that is also not really great for a lan. |
