So we headed over to the gun show in Odessa this weekend (Sat. morning) and looked around.  Saw a few things that caught my eye.  A Kel-Tec Sub 2000 in .40 followed me home and a new custom Ruger 10/22 followed the girlfriend home.  Anxious to shoot both of these.  I had a little 3-9x40 Lupy just sittin in the closet in a box...so that went on top of the 10/22.  Anxious for the next show!  I REALLY wanna find something in .35 Whelen!!

If you don't mine me asking, how much was the Sub 2000?

Enjoy the sub2k. I love the 9mm version. They are very dirty to shoot though so be ready for that.

I paid just over $500 for it.  It was new in box.  I've been searching for one of these for quite some time.  The 10/22 has a custom stock on it and she picked it up for $290.  I'm looking forward to shooting them both.  I missed having a 10/22 and the Sub2K is for my backpack when we're camping, hiking, atving, etc. in the back country of West Texas.

I got a .40 SUB-2000 at the Nation's Gun show for less than what OP paid.  You just have to get there on Friday.
Good stuff moves very fast.  While I was getting the NICS check, three guys walked up and made offers on it.

Damn, I remember a time when you didn't have to be a damn ninja or Jason Bourne to get good deals at the gun show or ammo from WallyWorld! Nowadays you gotta know a guy who knows a guy or be standing on a streetcorner at oh-my-god-it's-dark thirty with a yellow carnation in your right lapel...

I moved out here to Odessa 2 years ago and haven't made it to the gun show here yet.  I went last year to the one in Midland.  Was none too impressed so I kinda figured Odessa's would be the same.  Glad you found some deals that you're happy with!

Those kel tecs are few and far between. We had people asking for them at least once a week when I worked at a gun shop.
