| They same day you send me an email saying you are raising the price of prime, you screw me on shipping 2 different orders? I ordered 2 items this morning, paying for next day delivery on one of them. Just got my doing notices on both items saying they should arrive on Monday. |

.... 1st world problems. And of course the price is going up. People get a Prime account..then add every fucking family member/friend they have onto it. So Amazon is paying for 2 day shipping to people who aren't even paying for the program. Not my problem if they allow that. |

Get on their chat help line, tell them, and they will extend your prime membership for each order that did not meet the shipping deadline. Yup. I got 2 free months of Prime and a $10 promo for them missing delivery on 3 separate orders earlier this year. |

My only complaint is several of the items I routinely buy have gone up in price. For instance if two items were the same price I would obviously get the prime item. But after a while the prime item price was always inflated to the amount of the non prime items plus its shipping cost. Thus making both items the same price. Taking away the prime advantage. The only reason we still use it is there are some very heavy items we have shipped monthly with the prime. If it wasnt for those items we would cancel.

I'm fine with $99 a year. Love the shipping among other benefits. Although I have yet to watch any of the shows available through Prime... yet. There are a lot of good shows and movies available with Prime video... We'll see how long they let me pay at amazon student rates |

That doesn't take away the prime advantage since you should still get the item faster. I think that's what the lawsuit linked above is about though. ETA: when I sell on Amazon, I almost always use USPS flat rate even if the buyer didn't pay for expedited shipping though. |

Ok, last time I got on their chat line, it was "you have a problem? ok, here's your extension, kthxbye" and I was good with that. This time: Amazon:One moment while I check into this for you right away. Thank you so much for holding. You do deserve the best. I am so sorry your order was delivered late, I will be happy to escalate this to our shipping department. I will also be happy to extend your Prime membership for the inconvenience caused as a valued Amazon Prime customer. Would you like that? Me:yes an extension would be fine Amazon:Okay, sure :) One moment while I do this for you LuckyDucky. So while I complete this for you, how has your day been thus far? Me:busy but good Amazon:That is really good, you do sound very hardworking.
Figured I'd get an extension since prices are going up.
