I caught some CS mist one night at a club years ago when a drunk jackass started a fight and the police maced him. I wiped off as much as I could and left it alone and watched the other people go to the water fountain, bathroom sinks or anywhere their was water and tried to wash it off but only spread it around and made it worse.
Have you ever been in a CS gas chamber I know some on here have if you know what I mean......pepper spray is not that bad though. Why did the police pepper spray you for sucking someone off were you in public doing it? |

Yep it burns.
But don't let your pain give you a false sense of security about it. If you got sprayed for training, then you're worried about how bad it's going to hurt, and sure enougth, it does. What you're not doing is thinking how you're going to kill by crushing with your bare hands the person who's using it, and gouging his eyes out with your fingers. That focus and hate can allow a person to shurg off what burns and makes you fall over, when you're not all amped up with anger. It's a tool, less lethan than a bullet, and so not as effective. Still, people get shot and continue the fight. Don't think they can't after a gas sprary too. |

We had to air out the place for awhile...that Turkey.

Few weeks ago I had to assist on a cell extraction b/c an inmate was fighting with the team. Two of the 5 team members broke their seal on their mask, one member tore an ACL. I was coming on shift when they were going in. I grabbed a mask (which was useless b/c it was a bit chaotic for a minute and I didn't get a good seal) and jumped in. Unknown to me they had emptied a whole Mk9 cannister of OC into the cell and then pepperball'd (paintball gun) the inmate prior to going in. This was at the start of the 8 hour shift. I was breathing OC the rest of the damn night. Shit clears your sinuses right up though :P. Another time, in a struggle with a combative inmate in general pop the officer decided to OC. Missed the inmate but I got a nice steady stream of it.....you get used to it after a while but it still sucks balls.
