[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need help please. AR-15 problems

I have a DPMS AR-15 Bull and I want to remove the gas block. I hace removed the 2 screws at the bottom and have tapped the gas block with a piece of wood but would not budge. What next? Any ideas?
