| I've been looking into all the online how-to's and haven't been able to find something that is black and white.. Most seem to be pretty in-descriptive and vague and leave alot of guess work. Any solid tutorials out there? I'm a pretty handy guy but I'm thinking of just saying screw it and getting a kidd kit. Anyway, thanks. |

Just get the Kidd, you won't regret it. I tried to get off cheap with mine(VQ hammer), but ended up getting the Kidd. Honestly, i should have just done that to begin with. It's an incredible trigger!!!! +1 Get the whole shebang, it's spendy, but you won't regret it. |

I did mine with a whetstone, slowly shaving metal off of the hammer and sear until I got the weight to 3.6lbs.
It was over a year ago so I don't recall the exact video I used as reference, but just hit up youtube for 10/22 trigger job. Watch a few videos and once you have a good handle on how it works, have at it. It was really easy and I am no gunsmith. There really is no sense in buying a kit, unless you just like spending $$. |

Ooo....boy that's a pricey little devil, might just stick with the trigger job kit seen here It says something about fitting in the plastic housing...mine's aluminum, does that make a difference? |

Nope....I installed mine in a 1984ish rifle. Worked like a champ. My gun shoots better than I do.
