The 22" NM was a bit long for my tastes in the EBR. So I put the NM back in the walnut and ordered a Scout to drop in the EBR. The hell with pounding the guide out, when in less then 10 seconds with a Dremel at either the 3:00 o'clock position or the 9:00. As soon as you get near the barrel she'll POP open. A replacement op rod guide is only around $7.00 if I ever decide to put it back in the wood. Hope this helps someone!
